          There is for health insurance companies. You keep paying and they don't pay out a thing for healthy people

            Here is one that many arent aware of.

            "Enriched Flour" sounds really healthy because it isnt just any old flour, it is the best kind, enriched.

            Well genetic modification over the decades rendered American commercial wheat so nutritional devoid that the FDA required the mills to add vitamins and minerals to the flour otherwise it could not legally be labeled as food.

            There is a bunch of labels under FDA control that are misnomers.

              There are about a dozen different names for Monosodium glutamate for example.

              Makes you wonder if the rise in people with food allergies and gluten sensitivities are a result of these genetic modifications?

                So before commercial yeast was available bread was made with natural starter (levain). Just natural yeast and bacteria from the air. The proofing time is considerably longer and the wild bacteria's eat up gluten and starches. The interesting thing is that most people with sensitivities to gluten can eat "real" bread.

                Most with lactose intolerances can drink raw milk that has not been pasteurized killing off the natural lactase.
