    Surprised and disappointed.

I’ve lived in Harris county for almost 45 of my 46 years. Out of the thousands of people I know personally I would have to think really hard to come up with four or five people that voted for her.

Maybe that’s just my circles, maybe the circus we witnessed yesterday was a factor. I don’t know.

Harris county is in trouble, that’s for sure. It won’t get better. People are getting sick of it and moving across county lines.

We have been house shopping for 9 months now. I can count on one had how many Lina signs I saw. Alex Mealer signs ALL OVER Harris county. I've talked to plenty of folks while shopping, all say they want crime to stop. Well now crime is about to get worse. Glad we bought a house in Montgomery County and are closing soon.

I am convinced of two things. A) Business owners who put these signs up refuse to explain to their employees what will happen and continue to happen with Lina in charge. B) There was significant funny business. Granted Alex beat Abbott in Harris county, but there is no way Lina won.

ultimately you can thank the public education system and until we get control of the system it will only get worse.
last night is proof that half the country is legitimately ignorant.

        half the country voted for:
        a literal brain-dead candidate
        higher taxes
        record level inflation
        war
        open borders
        out of control crime
corrupt government specifically the fbi and state department
        losing 25-30% of their 401k
        energy crisis

intelligent people don't vote in favor of any of this

I live in Montgomery county, a traditionally heavy republican area.....

1 in 4 people voted for Beto......it used to be 1 in 10

Every single pole recently showed 70-75% of people do not like the direction the country is headed...yet the people voted for more of it.

Well, apparently, most of them meant that they want the direction to go more to the left. I've got to get out of Harris County.

I think the Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade (Dobbs decision) prior to election cycle didn't do the R's any favors.

More liberal judges in Harris County? Lord help us.
I wish I'd have pulled roots across the county line a long time ago.

This is exactly right and is one of the problems with these ambiguous polls (they’re designed this way intentionally).

When? Ann Richards received 35% of the Montgomery County vote in 1990.

What % of folks voted in hopes of erasing their households $150,000 college debt?
If 50% of this nation will tolerate the direction our country is headed because of their own personal short term gains, we might be to far gone as a country.
MSM and government handouts are winning this war

Looks like control of the senate will be decided by the runoff in Georgia. God help us.
