    Buy guns with cash

Big banks and credit card companies are starting to track gun purchases.

The sales code was promoted as a way to help 'recognize dangerous firearm purchasing trends,' thus improving public safety. It won't.

I don’t think your payment options matter because it’s already tracked but whatever’s. Be paranoid and read click bait

Yes, but it isn't supposed to be. Using credit card companies is a way to create searchable lists without breaking laws.

I don't really see it as being paranoid. Right now, as we speak, federal agents are going door to door to confiscate items that were perfectly legal from people who have done nothing wrong.

Buy with CC's and when they come looking for them, clearly state you lost them all in a boating accident. Or buy used guns with cash. Whatever works. Hope you buy all your ammo with cash too.

I'm of the mind that if they are going to be tracked, everyone should be buying more and more on credit cards so they can see it.

Stop hiding. There is nothing wrong with buying and owning guns.

The gun is already tracked though a back ground check. But buying with cash keeps your financial institutions out of it. Unless you want you bank/CC company to decide one day that they are closing out your accounts bc they feel like you are a threat based off of what you buy. Think it won’t happen? Lol.

While I don’t care what anyone tells federal agents or the police, if you lie to them, you committed a crime. It doesn’t have to be under oath.

Awesome, so you lost all of your guns, maybe 10 miles offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. If they come across any of those guns later, it might be a few months in the federal pokey.

Popular millionaire Martha Stewart was sent to federal prison, not for the crime she was accused of (insider trading) but for obstruction of Justice for lying to federal agents.

We have the right to remain silent. Sometimes people have a hard time with that.

I won't be answering any questions from authorities of any sort without an attorney present.

that is incorrect , you have a LTC , they use it and you don't have to do the background check .. i have not done one ever and i've had my CHL since 1997 when that's what it was called.

Lots of them still run the back ground even with an LTC. I bought one yesterday at academy. Fairly certain they still ran it. They just do it on the computer instead of calling NICS these days.

I paid with a credit card too. The horror.

3rd bullet point on page in link below... if academy does it anyways, it's their internal policy to do so ... not the law. flat out ask them next time you're there. I would assume they have to tell you.
