What if there were no federal dollars in healthcare?

First thing people want to talk about every time I mention Texas independence is "what are we gonna do without all that federal money?" Here's a good article about that question when it comes to healthcare.

Get the latest news and updates from the Texas Nationalist Movement as we work to make TEXIT a reality.

Whose dollars are those anyway? We pay the taxes, they waste a bunch of it on red tape, then send part of it back. If we kept the money in Texas, we'd be just fine.

What would the Fed do without all the Texas tax dollars ? I’m not for succession just saying we send them more dollars than they send back our way.

Feds are no different than the Mafia skimming off the top from casinos in Vegas. Politicians are the Dons.

There will be another article on that in the future.

In another 4 or 5 years, SS won't be an issue. No one will have it. At some point that elephant in the room is going to have to be addressed. At least with a secession, it's a clean break and a chance to start something that is sustainable.

If you paid into Social Security and are currently drawing, and then you move to Canada or France, you still get the benefits that you’re entitled to, correct? I don’t see how an independent Texas would be any different.

As long as there is money in the SS account to make payments, it doesn't matter where you live. I don't know about every nation in the world but I know you can draw social security if you live in Central America or Europe as long as you paid into the system as a US taxpayer.

My point was more to the fact that SS is on borrowed time and at least with something like Texit, there's a chance to create a system that can sustain itself moving forward.

What if you moved to Canada before you were eligible? Could you claim what you had put in up until you moved ?
