This may have already been discussed but I just saw where its been proven he was well aware the "officers whipping migrants" story was bogus from the get-go and ran with the story anyway. Having a knee jerk reaction before discerning the facts would be bad enough - saying what he knew to be untrue to the determent of Border Patrol is grounds for dismissal
