Liberal legacy media and social media is buzzing about a neighborhood powered by solar panel fields called Babcock Ranch 12 miles inland from FtMeyers that didnt lose power during Hurricane Ian.
The solar field was constructed by Florida Power and Light. Florida Power and Light contracted for solar panels/modules from JinkoSolar. JinkoSolar is one of the largest solar module/panel manufacturers in the world, if not the largest. Per Wikipedia, JinkoSolar is no longer allowed to import solar modules in the US because of them being manufactured by slave labor in China, particularly Uyghur Muslims in China.
The aforementioned doesnt even address the African child labor used to mine heavy metals from Aftican mines owned by Communist controlled Chinese corporations used in the storage batteries.
Also not discussed is whether the panels made power when there was no sun before and during the storm. No sun no power. But the neighborhood had power. So that power had to come from somewhere, which wouldve been the mostly natural gas powered grid. Not mentioned at all in the media articles.
