No one said he was a nice guy. If he was saying a bunch of lies then you could easily point a couple out, right?

Are we supposed to be hating all bad or evil leaders around the world or just Putin?

Still not one person has explained why we should care what Putin does in his own Country but we don't care about 70% of the evil on the rest of Earth.

I don't care about any of these people. You keep saying his country. Learn some actual history. The Russians gathered land by force after WW2....you know...all these countries that speak other languages, Half of Germany, Poland, etc. All of that was lost with the collapse of the USSR. This upsets Putin and it is his mission to put it back together. He has stated this for the record.

the fact of the matter is NATO was created EXACTLY to prevent this crap. We should have scrapped NATO when the Soviet Union went bust but we did not and now we are or will be in the middle of it at some point. Russia is going to go broke. His pipelines were destroyed so he cannot play nice for awhile while he reloads the bank....So this is who did the sabotage.

Putin will not survive much longer.

Putin miscalculated the ferocity of resistance the Ukrainians would mount (along with billions in NATO weapons shipments) and is ready to anoint himself and his country as victorious in the annexation of Russian allied Ukrainian territories. The best thing at this point would be for the rest of Ukraine to leave it at that, but things will undoubtedly escalate from here as Zelenskyy is either a genuine martyr for the cause or in my more cynical view a pawn for NATO/“American” interests (I don’t see how any of this crap is in our interest).

Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a tactical nuke used in defense of newly annexed Russian territory should Ukraine mobilize and concentrate their man power in a particular area in an attempt to regain lost territory. Russia will simply be playing defense and that’s much easier to do than it is to mount an offensive against motivated, patriotic Ukrainians. Ultimately, both sides will lose a lot of men without any direct outside forces behind deployed and I tend to think Russia will be able to grind them down eventually.

I agree with this.
We have our own tyrants to deal with.
Our borders are being over run, our schools and economy are a wreck and we’re worried about Russia/Ukraine?
We need to clean up our own mess first and foremost.

Agreed and well stated! The world is waaaaay smaller than in WWII thus we do not have a choice to sit around and twiddle our thumbs.

If Russia is going broke then let them it should be a cake walk for nato.
