    Why is China opening police stations in other countries?

    I came across this today and was very surprised. China for the last couple of years has been opening police stations in other countries. The official reason why they are doing this is to help Chinese nationals with things like renewing their drivers license so they don’t have to go all the way back to China to do so. However, it appears as though the real reason is to spy on the Chinese nationals, and in some cases, “persuade” them to go back to China when they feel the nationals have broken any Chinese laws.

    Hmmmmm………….

    They are called Fuzhou Public Security Bureau and they have established more than 50 police “service stations” across five continents, including at least three in the Greater Toronto Area, according to a list shared by Chinese media. So where else are they besides Canada? How about Chile, Spain, and England to name a few. They just recently opened one in Dublin Ireland……..

    Spread of Chinese ‘overseas police service stations’ around the world raises concerns among human rights campaigners

    Oh, they also have an office in New York. These are not offices to help with visas, as that is what the embassy’s throughout the world are for. You can bet one of these offices will be opening soon in any place that there is a large Chinese population. This is in direct violation of the United Nations. It would be like the United States opening a police station in England and forcing US citizens to deport back to the United States if we felt the people were in violation of any of our laws. So how does China force people to self deport back to China? They strong arm their families that are still in China. This is what they do…….

    Under the campaign, Fujian province departments at all levels were instructed to carry out five measures against fraud suspects, actions to be taken before any suspect was taken before a court of law:
    (1) Demolish property built using illicit money and recover any illicit money;
    2) Ban the children of suspects from studying in public schools;
    (3) Suspend all medical insurance subsidies and confiscate passports;
    (4) Ban “dishonest persons” from taking high-speed rail and planes or being accommodated in hotels;
    (5) Stop all applications for policy subsidies at the county level or above.

    btw, China considers nationals who they think broke laws as being guilty of fraud. Over there it is guilty until proven innocent.

    This is yet another reason why China is one of our biggest enemies right now. If this is allowed to continue throughout the world then eventually they will start going after people that are not Chinese nationals for bad mouthing China, spreading “disinformation”, and general violations of Chinese laws even if you are not a Chinese citizen.

          I don't mind that they buy land. Hell my in laws are from Nigeria, and were allowed to buy land. It's actually pretty awesome. There is a reason we are the greatest country ever.

          But the shear quantity and increasing pace of land China is buying should be very concerning. Granted they hold just a tiny fraction of foreign owned land currently. Canada owns the most US land right now, and then the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Stolen from this source:
