Folks, I know for as long as most of you remember, Iran has been on the USA's $h!t list, but some of you may remember that Iran was once the #1 US Ally in the Middle East. The people still remain Pro-US.

For the past 11 days the people have been fighting with empty hands against the government who's Army and agents are armed to the teeth. Many have been killed, disabled and arrested, but the people are still fighting. The internet has been disconnected so the Government can keep the killing away from the rest of the world.... The few pictures coming out are gut-wrenching.


If you believe and love Freedom and Democracy, THIS IS the Purest form of Fight for Freedom and Democracy. I ask you to please pray, send positive energy or if you have the time or it's easy for you to do, send letters to your congress persons to support the people of Iran and bring awareness to what's happening in Iran.

It's remarkable when you go back and see what life in Iran was like before the revolution in 1979. Much of the society was quite "westernized" in everything from dress to education with many educated abroad. Overthrowing the Shah started out as kind of a joint venture between the well-educated democracy advocates and the religious radicals. Once the overthrow was successful the religious radicals took over, purging the westernized democrats and imposing a theocracy. They still have an iron grip but the country's population skews young and thanks partially to social media that younger cohort wants reform. So far brutal crackdowns have kept them in check but that can't go on forever.

And allow Russia to invade Afghanistan?
I thought carter tried to deny a medical visa to the king for cancer treatment in the USA?

Those are two major black eyes that caused destabilizing Persia and middle eastern regions

The Iranian people and Russian people are starting to openly protest and suffering the violence of the corrupt governments
