    Convention of States

Is this like the no hitter through 7 and I should delete this immediately? It's not that far fetched at this point. Republicans need control of 4 more legislatures to make the call. I don't think anything would come of it because too many Republicans are spineless, go along to get along pieces of ****, but if they get to 34 public pressure must be heavy for this to happen.

Well the Dems are not capable to run anything as they have proven. Do we get behind the Libertarian Party or start a new party. The Real American Party.

The current system is rigged against any 3rd party. Right now the Dems are in power and are labeling any group that even discusses the need to change things in government as "extremist" and "potential terrorist" groups. If the Repubs were in charge, they'd be doing the same thing. Neither side in DC wants a change. The Convention of States is the only real option we have that they can't outlaw or disparage since it's written into the Constitution.
Should it happen, without question. Will it happen, I'd say it's 50/50.

I think yes…will be painful at first. Media will do its best to crash the movement.

A Convention of the states would be best…but I do not see it happening.

I am an independent, the majority of GOP is way left for me.

If you can't vote in responsible representation in the republican party as it sits today and clean house then how are the American people going to do it in another party? The answer to our problems isn't located in one place as there are many areas that will need to be addressed and the first is in our education system. A dumbed down society can't run anything correctly.

                TERM LIMITS
We have to surgically remove the Rhinos each election cycle & start pressing TERM limit legislation & amendments to correct this corrupt system we call our Government.

Still not quite sure why there is any requirement or need for parties. A person / candidate should run on their own platform and be able to navigate policies from issue to issue based on what they believe in. We vote based on what each candidate says they stand for. Shouldn't require millions of dollars to run and all candidates should have the same amount to spend on their campaign. all money donated for political purposes goes into a general fund to be disbursed among candidates equally.

The RAP Party. I like it. Finally some rap I could get behind. To much lip services and false promises from both sides now without Trump.

If you can't get people to buy into your vision and support your campaign, then you shouldn't be in the running.
Plain and simple, that is just asking for crazy failed candidates to waste tax payers money or are you proposing that all of the money donated to the field of candidates be evenly distibuted, if so that is even more ludicrous.

We have the power of term limits at the voting booth, to many uneducated voters is the real problem.

If we had 100% free and fair elections there would be a lot less issues with candidates and uneducated voters. Even in primaries for both parties all the way from the national level on down to the local city level are corrupt and full of fraud. Until all the loopholes are closed and 1 real person gets 1 real vote there will always be issues.

Maybe I am too naive, but why don't more Libertarian politicians run under the guise of the Republican party to get into office? - I would be willing to bet most "Republicans" in the public more align with conservative Libertarian ideologies than that of the typical Washington "Republican".
