Is railroad gonna strike ? Yay or nay

This could possibly devastate the economy and I’m not sure this administration has the smarts to stop it. God I hope cooler heads prevail and the Unions and companies reach an agreement.

Railroad workers won’t be the only unions going on strike with FJB in office.

I pray it doesn’t happen, but I understand where the workers are coming from. Pretty much zero time off, have to go where and when they tell you. The workers can’t keep that pace up.

I agree 100%. They are slaves to the railroad companies.

Comrade Bernie just blocked a GOP proposal that would force the unions to a deal thereby preventing a shutdown.

They will strike. It will be very short. Congress will intervene and force them back to work very quickly.

Start hiring their replacements now. That will stop that union bs.

I'm going to need help understanding why the government needs to be involved in a union vs the company matter? I don't know enough about the railroad.

Because the government gets involved in everything they have no business being involved in.

They can't even hire people to fill the vacancies they have now. $15000 signing bonus to be a conductor and they're struggling to get people hired.
                        Get ya some.

Edit: I see they've raised the anty to $20000 in some places. That ought to tell you something

                          .

Because just like Regan did with the air traffic controllers in the 80’s. The strike would cripple the US economy. It would take 300-500 big trucks to move what one train load can. That’s whys

This will absolutely arrest the economy ahead of q4. You think inflation is bad now, wait until we have limited supply and unmet demand.

I have containers that have been in a rail yard in council bluffs iowa for nearly a month and a half.

This explains it to a degree
