Wow. Some of these comments are surprising. Whether you care about the Royal Family or not, I thought the members on the green screen would show a little more class and dignity. We can do better.

People watched Game of Thrones and think that's what the Royal family is.

Now that the Queen has passed, we'll see how quickly the royal family and Britain in general evolve with Charles in charge. I suspect she’s been very active behind the scenes keeping both ****shows under control and avoiding becoming even worse public spectacles. Expect to see fireworks now that there’s a weak leader, albeit even a mostly ceremonial one.

My Wife and watched a Netflix series (last year I think) about QEII.

Granted it was "made for TV" but, I came away with more respect for her than I thought I would. Gave her entire life in service to her country.

Sometimes, it is better to keep one's mouth closed. How would you feel if someone had said the same thing about your shrimper friend that died recently?

I have a modicum of compassion for whomever might miss her, as with anyone's passing.

But these aristocrats are so far out of touch with the real world that propping them up just makes you look silly.

And for centuries they've been prolific, inbreeding pedophiles.

And the "shrimper friend" comment couldn't be more tasteless.

I posted in the otehr thread....she broke protocol and tradition and ordered the Buckingham Palace band to play the Star Spangled Banner outside the palace on the morning of 9-12-2001.....incredibly respectful

In 2000, the Queen was caught on camera wringing the neck of a pheasant that one of her dogs had retrieved. Animal rights groups went nuts. The next day she was called The Killer Queen in the press......while she wore a hat to church with pheasant feathers woven in.

She was a country girl at heart and was an incredible hunting dog breeder.

This group has deteriorated to the point I can no longer support it...
Anymore, when I get on and read the threads, I am saddened and come away not uplifted, but dismayed... It is a sad day for me that the leadership of this forum has allowed this deterioration to come to this new low. It hasn't happened overnight, but gradually over time, but it has sped up the last few years...
