The Terminal List - by Jack Carr

I just finished the audio book and I am still watching this on Amazon Prime. The story is about a navy seal that gets revenge on the people that killed his wife, daughter and his seal team.

There is a part of the book that describes how he applies some serious hate on the guy that killed his girls. He took the guy deep into the Florida everglades, cut out his bowels and tied them to the top of a tree. Then made the man walk around the tree. He collapsed at the bottom of the tree in pain but still alive. He left the man there to be eaten alive by every bug, bacteria, bird and crocodile that could find the man.

I mean that is extracting some serious hate on the guy that killed your girls. A bullet is too easy and painless of a death for you.

Show was great. Chris Pratt has come a long way since Parks and Rec.

I believe he was referring to Blue Duck from the movie Lonesome Dove.

You'll be disappointed in all the missing "hate and revenge" if you read the books first. Most of the good stuff is missing. They took a bow to political correctness by omitting the scene where he cuts the head off the muslim imam at the consulate and puts it on a iron gate outside. They make the secretary of state a less than evil character as well.

It's a good story, but he has a long ways to go as a writer IMO. Way to much fluff and filler. The production of the audiobooks is fantastic and makes you feel like you are watching a movie. That narrator has some serious talent.
