I completely understand that concept. However , my question is hypothetical for someone that may not know that. I’m trying to understand where this scenario may go in the event the guy was to say hey I bought the guns but I don’t have them on the premises. Do you think the cops would then maybe demand to be taken to the location? Just curiosity on my part, trying to understand how the cops would navigate the scenario as well

They would have probably told him to either show the guns or you will get charged with being a straw purchaser. Just the threat of arrest will make most people forget their rights.

This will start out being nice cop, but as time goes on they will demand it and maybe threaten to take someone to jail. I don’t see any good in harassing law abiding citizens, this is about control.
