    Question about inflation.

Is the new 9.1% an accurate number...not sure how they wring this out when every component on the consumer price index is above 9.1%.

Add in the percentage wages have dipped over the past year (3.1%) and that number is closer to 12.5-13%.

Which means it likely actually 18%.

We should just start our own country, kick all the free loaders and liberals out and then get rich selling oil to them. Enforce our own borders and set up a back to God and Country attitude. Get back to what made this country strong and respected.

I keep hearing people saying inflation is the highest it has been in 40 years, but the way inflation has been calculated has changed twice in that time period. If current inflation was calculated the same way as it was 40 years ago then we would be seeing the inflation rate of around 20%. Things are a lot worse than what is being reported.

Well this part is actually correct. I paid almost $1 per gallon less than the peak last month.

Nothing is real because if it were we might be acting like Sri Lanka today. I doubt any number referring to gov is anywhere close to accurate
