I don’t know about price drops?
                Sunday 7/10/22 = $39? In Boerne
Monday 7/11/22 = $4.20 in college station HEB

Maybe just travel in different areas??? The news and FJB keep saying they’re dropping prices
                I don’t see it yet

Supposed lock down in China is putting the brakes on demand plus folks in USA are cutting back… supply and demand type result

Indicator of impending recession. Price dropped because global demand dropped.

The frog in the pot of boiling water. Jack the price up high, drop them down a little bit, people are relieved that they're not as high as they used to be and they never go back to where they were before.

I paid 3.69 in lake Charles, la two days ago. Others places around that area were around 3.85

It may be a little less than yesterday but it really never goes down. They’ve been playing this game for years. If fuel is at 2.00. Then it’s raised to 4.00, just long enough to get you in a tizzy over it. Then it’s dropped down to 3.00, did it really come down or did it just get raised to 3.00 in a way that you find tolerable? I’ve seen this time and time again. It may come down some but almost never to it’s original lower price.

Looks like oil is dropping more overnight also. Lets get gas back around $2.50 please.

Just thought instead of a gas going up thread we could use a gas going down thread.
Heaven forbid, dont do that. That will start a war with some members on here. Telling us how we are living outside our means if $1 per gallon makes a difference in our finances and that we are horrible people because we are happy that gas prices are coming down.

Let's see how long this post will be up before it is removed.

With different "leadership" (term used lightly) it would still be under $2.00/gallon.
