Hmmmmm, props to the mom. It makes the cops look bad. When you get down to it. How many of those cops had actually received live fire at any point of their career. It could explain their trepidation to engage the shooter. Unless they are exmilitary, probably none of them had experienced anything like that.

In the almost immediate follow up the reporter asked while inside the school did you see any officers. She responded that I did not see one officer. Okay, who is escorting you “out”. So apparently she broke past the police but somebody other than the police escorted her out?

I never saw one police officer in the building and they escorted me out away from my son’s room. Ooookay…..
Well Ooookay. That woman's mother instinct kicked in and cops or no cops inside, she did what mothers do. Cudo's to her.

Those concerned about receiving live fire sat back & let the kids learn about it. At least the cops are safe & can still enjoy their retirement.

The way I took it, she ran into the bldg w/ police hot on her tail to stop her.
THOSE officers trying to catch up to her, eventually caught her (in the bldg).

The "not seeing an officer in the bldg" referred to SWAT or other enrty team holed-up somewhere in the bldg..(not being see).

And that’s exactly what I said and what the officer in the video said.

It isn’t the woman and her emotions but what the media and social media try to spin it into.

I am glad that you could read her mind.

It appears that the scene was in an entirely different building out of the approximate seven buildings on campus. Sure she didn’t see officers at the shooting scene, she probably wasn’t anywhere near it.

For those that missed it or ignored it. This was posted by GARR in the Uvalde thread in campfire. It is an hour and 9 minutes but the first 35 are very enlightening.

I suspect that many won’t view it or will ignore it if it doesn’t go along with their views.
