I agree on some for sure, arming more cops and teachers won't do anything unless that person wants that responsibility. There was a small army at Uvalde right outside and they didn't have the stones to go in, so that isn't going to stop it. I am not talking about taking guns away from law abiding citizens obviously I am a 2nd amendment supporter. I understand though, that the country is not like it use to be, there are less responsible adults let alone children and it takes a very responsible person to handle a firearm successfully. As gun owners we need to be seen as responsible and looking for ways to help decrease these things from happening.
I think this type of thing is a symptom of how bad our society is at the moment and I agree making it harder for law abiding citizens to own and obtain firearms won't solve anything. There is a mental health crisis in this country and easy to obtain weapons is making easier for these psychos to lash out because they are devalued and lonely from the wokeness you speak of. It's a hard problem to solve because morality is gone, church and community has long be left behind and you have a hard time legislating morality especially when you can't trust any politician on either side to have an honest opinion. A lack of trust in each other is another thing that is hurting our country, badly.
