Now that word is out Twitter has over 20% bot or fake accounts what will they do?

Does this open the door for every business that bought advertising to sue?
What about the SEC? They obviously lied to stockholders misrepresenting number of users.

Curious everyone's thoughts.

Now if I was running a publicly held company and committed this type fraud, they would prosecute me to the fullest extent possible.

The DOJ and the SEC need to go after the Board for substantially misrepresenting the amount of assets (accounts) they had. This is a material misstatement of financial records and considered FRAUD. Stakeholders should sue to recover part of their losses and Board members, CEO and the CFO need to be prosecuted.

This right here. Nothing. I do agree that Elon might get a better deal now but I doubt anything happens to Twitter or their board or leadership.

My hope is the SEC get involved and if crminal activity is involved Executive Leadership and Board of Directors are arrested and procecuted.

Clearly by over inflating membership was done to better their stock price.

With this information the price should go down if not completely implode.

I agree to an extent it has been great to watch. However I think those that would want to know this information already knew without it being exposed and those that didnt will continue to bury their heads in the sand because they cant handle the truth.

I don't think he did it to stir the pot. Definitely to try to get a better price. His breakup fee is $1B.
