Replacing the US Dollar as top dog

I said last week, and Tucker Carlson stated the same, all the wheels are in motion to topple the US dollar as the world’s currency. So what does it get replaced with? Chinese Yuan which isn’t really currency at all, or some yet to be formed virtual currency?

What are you doing in preparation for this?

Physical investments. If the dollar is removed as the world’s reserve currency, the stock market is going to crash to an extent that we have never seen before. Paper investments will not be worth the paper it was printed on. Precious metals and rare earth minerals will balloon in price. Real estate ownership will primarily be for the well off. It would be a time that none of us have ever seen or even thought about. I pray it never happens.

It may happen one day but the only currency that is prevalent and stable enough to do so would be the Euro. China's currency is extremely volatile and manipulated by its own govt to ever take over. Russia....well we know that isn't happening. The two countries in Europe that have any real oil reserves don't use the Euro, GBP and NOK.

It is a long-term concern but not anything that is going to happen overnight.

The biggest danger we face is a digital currency system that is controlled by tyrants in government. With that would come a social credit system, where your behavior would determine your access to and use of your money. That would mean ultimate and complete government control over your life.

From an economic standpoint, there is no other world currency that could replace the US Dollar as world reserve currency right now. Bitcoin would be the biggest potential disrupter. But the big government tyrants will fight tooth and nail against that or any other system of money that they can't control. The prospect of using digital money technology to exert control though....THAT is music to their ears. We have to fight against that with every fiber of our being if we don't want to be controlled like that.

So why are folks jumping on the digital currencies like Bitcoin and such? Seems like that is just the opposite of what we should be doing.

Because most people don’t understand it, they barely understand what they have been told about it. They have been told it is an untethered currency, not connected to any central banks, corrupt governments or corps. It’s the currency form the people and offers anonymity and is untraceable. And true block chain is highly secure, BUT NOTHING digital is untraceable, digital bread crumbs always exist! And nobody can actually tell you who or where crypto originated, how do they know it’s not connected to a government or corrupt group. Most bought in because it sounded cool and they could make money doing it.

Bitcoin and other cryptos currently are not government controlled. That's way different than a central bank digital currency that would be completely controlled by the government. If/when governments and central banks create their own digital currencies, those are the ones that will be the ones to worry about for government control. They can't control Bitcoin. They can regulate the on/off ramps between Bitcoin and dollars. But if it becomes increasingly possible to just hold and transact in Bitcoin and/or other digital assets not under government control, the on/off ramp deal will be less relevant. There will be a government-controlled economy, and then there will potentially be an alternate economy outside the government system. Moving money between them may be more or less difficult from country to country, depending on how free or how tyrannical each government is.
