By not drilling or supporting in any way our fossil fuel industry but willing to go hat in hand to our adversaries to help supply us with oil proves that this isn't about green energy- it is about power. Regardless of where we get it emissions are emmisions. The Saudis have already said they will not up their production. By going to Venezuela and Iran they will probably ask for more than we are willing to give so that falls thru. Then the Biden administration says they have done all they can do while gas and diesel prices skyrocket. On Fox this morning they reported that trucker fuel costs for a fill up has gone from just over $900 to $1400- that will kill the trucking industry or make consumer prices so high that we will barely be able to afford it and teach those truckers not to question their authority by circling Washington D.C. The Dems will come to the rescue and "give" us some kind of relief check to help offset the costs of gas and inflation, which will in turn increase inflation more since the money the give us will just be printed. I hope the American people, both voting Republicans and Democrats (they are affected now just like the rest of us) will remember this in November and the Republicans win both branches with large majorities. The first thing they need to do is vote to impeach both Biden and Harris- Trump got impeached twice for chicken **** reasons while Biden and his administration are actively trying to destroy this country thru allowing invasion thru our southern border and ruining our economy.

And yeah, Mayor Pete's solution to the problem is for us to buy more electric cars which cost more than regular cars and the infrastructure is not in place to charge them. And they are so short sighted that I wonder if they have even thought about what fuel is going to be used to generate the electricity to recharge the cars that have batteries that we have to import from......Russia or China.

This^^^. Why would the Saudis, Iran, or Venezuela increase their production when they are getting record prices for crude? The Saudis have a very poor economy without oil and about half the population is hooked on oil royalties just like EBT cards here. Iran wants to fund their next nuclear and terror operations. VZ's population has been living in an economic disaster for years.

Ain't no way in hell they are gonna raise production enough to lower prices.
