The EU doesnt have the LNG to survive if putin shuts off the gas.

At the gym this morning I saw a headline that Ukraine closed down their airspace and was firing anti-aircraft rockets. Whether that explains it I don't know but could be a plausible explanation. I'm still not convinced Russia is going to war per say, just taking back the provinces that are mostly russian and have wanted to be part of russia for some time.

I meant I was wrong about the invasion. I thought it would be staging to show force, then sending in support for Pro-Russian rebels at the most.

Likely correct. Especially since much NATO has been misappropriating those sweet American tax dollars and do not have the military capabilities they claim to or should.
