The “left” is lucky that stickers are all you have to whine about.

If we continue to justify poor behavior under the guise of “well they did it first” or “at least it’s not as bad as ***x” then who is ever going to be the bigger man and put a stop to all this nonsense?

If the tables were turned and the left were plastering stickers on private businesses this forum would be having a fit, but it’s okay because at least we’re not rioting right?

It’s telling when so many here are quick to label everyone that disagrees with them as a Democrat instead of being able to form an intellectual response in debate.

Hurting feelings by putting a sticker on a wrapper is not criminal. Checkers at registers put stickers on my stuff after I’ve paid for it all the time.

We are more than capable of using logic to form an intellectual response, we’re just tired of them being ignored….over and over for decades. The truth, reality, and what is right, do not matter to liars, and those of no moral character. Logic is 100% lost on them.

I don’t know whether it’s criminal or not, although I feel like it likely is (if not, could I do it to every item in an aisle or is there a limit to how many stickers I could put on food I’m not buying before it becomes criminal?), I’m more concerned with people doing it to physical property. I think gas pumps are likely the most common receiver.

Does it cause lasting damage to anything? I highly doubt it, but the point remains that I wouldn’t be okay with someone doing it to my vehicle, home, etc so why do we not only justify but we applaud it when someone does it to property they don’t own?

There are a lot of folks here who I promise you do not fit into those blanket statements. I guess I still can not understand the rush to try to discredit someone by name calling and childish responses versus an intellectual debate but maybe I’m the odd one out.

Don’t cops chalk tires? Put parking tickets on cars? What about my registration sticker? Can I take that flipping tag off my mattress?

I don’t see the relevance with the first three but I’m not answering your last question because I don’t want to be on a watchlist.

I’ve got a hypothetical for you. Let’s say you and I are both stopped at the same gas station. I see you put a sticker on a gas pump. Would you be cool with me slapping a Biden Harris 2024 sticker on the door of your lambo?

Texas law requires a monetary loss for criminal mischief (vandalism) or a substantial inconvenience to the owner.

I don’t see how there is any monetary loss on a piece of plastic wrap that costs about two cents and it’s designed to be torn off and thrown away in order to use the product inside. it would be the equivalent of taking a magic marker and drawing a line on a Walmart bag. There is nothing to pay for to replace it as it is not damaged.

Placing a sticker on someone’s vehicle would be a substantial inconvenience even if it did not cause damage. You would have to take your time to go get the sticker off and clean it sufficiently so as not to cause future damage. In that case it would be a class C misdemeanor or the equivalent of a traffic citation.

I would never put any kind of sticker on another persons vehicle.

Speaking of mature replies and well thought out debate points, maybe get off your high horse.
A sticker pointing out a ridiculous price on a package of meat is not criminal. The meat is not damaged in any way and will sell for the same price, if some rich dude wants it.
Stickers on pumps do not harm a thing either, just look at all the advertisements for sodas and cigarettes that are all over them.
With all the real issues in our country, starting **** over a sticker seams trivial. Would you press charges on the little girl who put googlie eyes on my cereal box? Lighten up!
But, if you want to put something on my truck, or as some mouth said my Lamborghini, that's totally different. To me , you DO NOT touch my kids, my hat, or my ride. Doing so is justified physical violence. You may beat my ***, but you will get all I have to give.

You weren’t talking to me, but I’ll offer my view. In your scenario, I’d have the opportunity to whip your ***, and cram that sticker up your….nose. Or you, mine. Either way there would be a little accountability for us both, and probably some dealt down from the law.

While I do acknowledge the hypocrisy in putting stickers on someone else’s property, the *******s that the stickers are intended to “protest” have committed treason, fraud, pedophelia, murder, and theft upon the American populace without so much as a shred of accountability. They 100% stole an election to promote all of the things listed above….and no one is doing a **** thing about it. They’re lucky it’s just stickers, and it won’t be forever.

                            That about sums it up…
Dale is definitely better at expressing with words what the majority of tbh feels…

If someone gets this upset over a sticker I can only imagine the sleep he loses at night thinking what the other side does.
