Probably no money and no family to bail him out. Which is why he's homeless. My guess is he was hoping to not be homeless during the Winter in New York. Which is super smart because I'm guessing it gets super cold there. It's not cold in prison,they feed you,give you a bed,a t.v.,an education if you want it.

That guy really is screwed. He can't even do something bad and get any of that out of the deal. Just my take on it but I think he got the worst punishment they could have given him. He's homeless again.

I mean what can you possibly take from a man that has nothing? His sleeping bag? His cardboard house? Life literally can't get worse from there. Prison is a step up from being homeless. You have an equal amount of opportunities to get raped,mugged or killed living on the street as you do in prison so what's the difference? Besides all the other stuff I mentioned that you don't have living on the street that you can have in prison.
