Just curious if anyone has pursued the this route and was granted the exception. Any suggested key phrases or words that HR looks for? Any red flag words that can get you denied.

Interested as well. Anybody have a premade form? I may have to get the jab today if i can't figure something out. Hospitals I work at are starting to crack down on it. Technically today is the deadline for me.

Our legal department said they were going to scrutinize each request and they must be convinced that the applicant is sincere in their religious belief. We must "articulate" carefully. Which is weird to me because from what I understand, over 90% of our group is vaccinated. Why bother the last 10%? But it seems it is all on hold now with the 5th Circuit's rule. Which is strange to me, too, because we are not a private company but a state agency that is receives billions in federal funds. I didn't think the 5th Circuit's stay impacted federal contractors.

Doesn't the stay say that the mandate is unconstitutional? That ought to be pretty federal. UT Systems already sent down the notice, albeit with the wording "interim final decision". A&M will follow soon.

I did, but from what I understand my company (fed DoD contract) is handing them out like candy. I've seen plenty of denied requests from others elsewhere.

I heard do an affidavit. This is more legally binding apparently.

My bride applied for one and it was accepted almost immediately. Part of that may have been because her hospital was about to lose a lot of staff, but here it is if it helps.
