Interesting article about the 5th circuit ruling...

I need a court to overturn the executive order stating all feds must take the shot. All of the class 1 railroads have stated that they fit the bill for a government contractor. We must submit by Jan 4. My only hope is that they accept the religious exemption.

I know someone working for UP that got denied already, they don't seem to want to approve any exemptions. The forms filled out were robust and left little room for approval.

            I'm sorry to hear that.

Should've had their imam write them a personal letter of recommendation for good measure.

My personal opinion is, not at all. Their ruling was against OSHA overstepping their authority and I don’t believe that federal contractors got their order from OSHA.

Appeals courts generally rule on the question(s) in front of them and don’t branch out. They don’t say something like this is unconstitutional and while we are at it we would like to bring up some other issues. I have even seen cases where they made comments that go like, “had this issue been brought up we might have rules differently but that point wasnot argued”.
