Two proposed amendments — one regarding religious services and another related to nursing home visitors — stem from restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Early voting begins Oct. 18.
No to each that doesn't support conservative/libertarian values. We shouldn't give preferential treatment to one organization and not another.
Sorry, but prop 1 irritates me to no end. Either it's legal to have raffles or it isn't. It shouldn't be legal for one group, but not another. Rules for thee, not for me.

All sports teams can already do this, but I believe someone must have tried one at a local Rodeo event and got in trouble as they didn't see rodeo event as a sporting event. would be same for cheer leading etc. When you write laws with specific wording, this is the result. I am sure some event later will want to add in their "sporting" event later. Just allow any non-profit type group the ability to host a raffle etc.
Prop 1: no, either make it legal for all sports or illegal for all, stop with the adding crap ever year
Prop 2: no county doesn't need another excuse to blow money and the language is misleading they will increase taxes and infrastructure could be dang near anything
Prop 3: yes
Prop 4: I say no, out in rural west Texas our selection is small as it is so we don't need to restrict eligibility requirements further. I can see the argument for the bigger cities/counties. But not sure it will have the effect they are looking for.
Prop 5: no it'll just make it easier for leftist to run political smear campaigns on judicial candidates

when I saw the Prop, I thought this was already 'legal' ... or that there was no necessity to have it approved? Don't see the big deal or difference in rodeos?
