Funny we have to have a law for something that is just common sense. Good grief.

All part of the slide to dependence upon the government. We now pass legislation for everything, making one side as dependent on government as the other who is legislating handouts and other benefits

Too many WOKE terminologies and gender descriptions. Either you are an outty or you are an inny. If you have both then you are a morph and you take care of bidnez yourself. End of story!

Yep. The Constitution was written to limit what the government can do. Current laws limit what citizens can do.

Tyranny starts slow at first. But once it builds momentum, it is never stopped.

In Texas we have to have laws to enforce laws that are already on the books. It was law that all proceeds from the sale of TPWD Hunting and Fishing Licenses went to TPWD programs. Over the years politicians up in Austin began stealing that money for other pet projects. Much like the FED with Social Security. So the last session before this year's, they passed a law saying that the original law is a law and must be upheld as law. We need laws for laws to be laws.

Most laws that we deal with on a daily basis are common sense.

Do you need a law that tells you that driving down the neighborhood street at 90 mph where there are kids playing is wrong? No, common sense should tell you that you might kill an innocent child. The law is for the aftermath for those who don’t pay attention to what common sense tells them.

                          Rep. Cason, Jeff [R]
                          Rep. Larson, Lyle [R]
                          Rep. Slaton, Bryan [R]

Republican Nay votes. What is wrong with these people? The rest of the Nay votes are all democrats. Only one democrat voted Yea: Rep. Guillen, Ryan [D].
