So is this true? Given Miami's history, it would not surprise me if true.

This is just my opinion, but Art called the BS in Houston as he saw it. He did dumb stuff (Stand with BLM rioters), but he also called out Kim Ogg and Turner about their catch and release of criminals, and those criminals returning to kill officers and citizens constantly.

Cuban Americans in Miami have a long history of hate for Communism. Art is a fan of Communism. Seems that would explain both the animosity and the comment. He came in swinging a hammer and found some studs in the wall that wouldn't break. Good riddance.

Art is a Charlatan who's Schtick is being a woke liberal communist blow hard. He becomes a darling to big liberal cities and gets hired only to find out he leaves thing worse than where he found them. No difference here. He will be off to the next woke city looking for this schtick. It is making him lots of money so why stop.
