Listening to Fox News on the way home from work. Biden met with the progressive Democrats to see what could be done to get the the $3.5T bill passed with Manchin saying he won't vote for it and Sinema not even in Washington. Some of the progressives now say they might be willing to come down. We all know how devious and underhanded the Democrats are. What if the plan all along was for Manchin and Sinema, saying they won't vote for it as is, to provide the opportunity to look like heroes. What if Pelosi knew the bill wouldn't pass and already has some parts earmarked to remove, they now get the bill down to about $2T and Manchin and Sinema now say they can get behind it. They pass it along party lines and come back in 4-6 months to go after the parts they cut. The big name Democrats aren't worried about losing in the midterms- if their idiot electorate haven't voted them out by now they never will. If they get everything passed they want to change America to the welfare nation they are trying to get to then losing the majority in the midterms is no big deal.
