Let me guess... reverse engineered Ivermectin?

Merck & Co. said Friday that its experimental coronavirus pill reduced hospitalizations and deaths by half in people recently infected.

Merck & Co. said Friday that its experimental COVID-19 pill reduced hospitalizations and deaths by half in people recently infected with the coronavirus and that it would soon ask health officials in the U.S. and around the world to authorize its use.

Merck doesn't have to reverse engineer Ivermectin. They developed it originally. It's long since been out of patent, so that's why they have been trashing it lately - to make way for their new, similar, patented drug.

pfizermectin is on the way too...can't let a generic win the day.

Gotta have that new miracle $1000/pill & keep on with dewormer propaganda.

"Merck’s pill works by interfering with an enzyme the coronavirus uses to copy its genetic code and reproduce itself. It has shown similar activity against other viruses."

This is exactly how Doctors that prescribe Ivermectin describe its function in the body.

Merck was the original producer of Ivermectin before it went generic 20+ years ago.

Merck has just tweaked the Ivermectin formula slightly so it is technically a different formula and can not be classified as a copy of Ivermectin and sold at high Brand drug prices instead of cheap Generic drug prices.

Wow... this is close the premise in Goliath Season 4.

                from scientificamerican.com...

Much of the public interest in ivermectin as a treatment and prophylactic for COVID can be traced to a study led by Australian scientist Leon Caly that was in the spring of 2020. In that work, scientists added very high concentrations of the drug to cells grown in petri dishes and reported that it prevented the virus that causes COVID from making copies of itself. Similar studies in the past have indicated that ivermectin has antiviral properties when added to lab-grown cells: it blocked replication of viruses that cause dengue, Zika, West Nile, AIDS and other diseases. Prior to the pandemic, however, only one clinical trial had evaluated ivermectin specifically for a viral illness (dengue fever), and it showed no clinical benefit.

There it is. They re engineered the iver so they can charge a hundred a pill instead of 10 cents.

And again, if there is a viable treatment available, then there should be no need for a mandated "vaccine."
