    Non Covid Ivermectin Question

Is anyone here going to continue some kind of ivermectin regimen for anti inflammatory purposes?

Has anyone that already had one before covid have a doctors opinion on dosage and frequency? I know its prescribed to some for certain ailments. I was prescribed it years ago for a nasty attack of the chiggers.

I do use it and it has gotten me off Celebrex and Motrin. I just use injectable and once a week.

For how long and what dosage/frequency? How did you learn about it?

I developed pretty bad achilles tendonitis from a bad leg injury back in 2017. It always burnt and running was literally impossible. When I woke up or after long car rides I would need a minute or two to walk properly waiting for them to stretch out. Ivermectin has cured it 95% and overnight. I know its a very benign drug but dont want to take more than needed.

What dosage and is your current dosage a covid prophylaxis? Would you take less for anti inflammatory properties only is what Im getting at if thats the case.

I hope not. I properly titled this thread and truly am curious. This could bring me a **** ton of relief in my life from pain and immobility. It already does. I just want to figure out a long term plan.

I used it a couple months ago and at the same time my eye sight improved. Stopped using it and noticed it got worse. Started again a couple days ago and I'm 90% sure it's helping my eye sight. May sound dumb but I'll take it weekly. If I stop I'll chime back in for try #3

It was a welcomed side effect. I use dosage off charts on here. I will lessen it and monitor and will hopefully find a lesser dose. Im like you and prefer to take as little as possible of any medication

Since I discovered I have covid anti bodies I backed off the weekly prophylaxis of 2.4 cc’s and moved the same does to bi weekly with no decrease of anti inflammatory benefits. Im thinking of trying a cc a week and see how that goes. Will continue to back off from that and find my magic number. It would be really cool if someone that is prescribed it chime in on what doctors think is a healthy dose. Im not living in Africa or India so my risk analysis is obviously different even though it appears they take such drugs weekly with no ill effects.

Im gonna take 1cc today and go weekly. Adjust fire from there. Been 2 weeks since my last 2.4 cc dose. Ill update progress.

Yesterday I completed plyo box jumps x36, high box step ups x 36 per leg weighted lunges x 36, front squats x 36, heavy barbell hip thrusts 200 lbs (hamstrings). Zero pain and no immobility. Before Iver Id be out a week. I could go run for miles. Insane stuff.

Still interested to hear weekly maintenance dosages by long term users, thanks.
