Back to the OP. History behind Mrna. Been around for about 20 years. Never made it past animal testing because of negative effects. Been tried for AIDS, ZIKA, and several other illnesses.

The scary part and well documented is taking healthy young people (under 30) and they have life changing heart, blood, and physical issues. Not one professional athlete in their prime that I can think of that had a hard time with this virus. I know of at least 4 that may never compete again from side effects of the vaccine.

As far as long term effects- Nobody knows.

If you are unvaccinated I can understand asking the question if trying to gain knowledge for yourself. If you have taken a vaccine your just Don Lemon’s intelligence

If there was a Covid 19 vax started in 2011 and Covid 19 didnt exist until 2019 someone has some serious explaining to do in regards to time travel or general ****ery.

On the healthy part of your comment. I heard yesterday that out all the military people that have had the real virus… There was 0 deaths. Not even 1. So, I’m in agreement with your athletes comments.

          My experience...

Pretty much everyone in my family has gotten the shot but me.

Mom and Dad.... mom was sick the day after. Other than that no problems so far. They were vaccinated in March.

Mother in law.... Shot in March and no problems

Granny and grandpa (90 years old)... Vaccinated in March and granny was sick for a day after.

Wife.... got the shot back in July.... constant ear ache and ringing in ears since then. Even now her ears bother her. She 100 percent wishes she had not done it.

Wife's aunt and uncle... Both got the shot the same day back in March. The next day they both got sick. They both ended up in the hospital. She now has the mind of a 5 year old and he died in the hospital.

The shot is just as fickle as the disease in my opinion. I personally am not ready to chance being in the group that has problems with it. I had covid back in July 2020 and believe my immunity is still in full force. I have taken zero precautions against catching covid since then and haven't had it again. If I catch it again I think I can beat it again. No way I would advise anyone to get the shot or not get the shot. Do what's right for you and you have only you to blame for whatever happens.

The Covid vaccine did start in 2020. The Mrna has been tried numerous times over the last 25 years. None have made it past the animal studies. I dont mind people electing to take the vaccine and it should be available to them. It should be consider a “Right to Try Drug.” I hope side effects don’t continue to emerge as time passes. I know plenty of folks that have gotten one of those available. Truth is nobody knows- anyone that says anything different is lying.

Here is a recent one- was a top 25- just a wild guess but probably in better physical condition than 99.9% of TBH. Obviously not a political news source

I dont care about opinions, the facts are that vaccinated people are getting hospitalized and dying at a much much lower rate than the unvaccinated population.

First off the data is still coming in and the efficacy rate keeps declining
Second VAERS data shows it’s not resulting in the same side effects as all past vaccines , in fact it’s way worse and other vaccines have been pulled with much less negative data being reported to VAERS but for some reason VAERS is no longer a valid or trustworthy information source

3rd That’s not really the point, the overarching point is that no one knows the long term effect (5 years, 10years) of the vaccine and this vaccine was not being developed for the last ten years.

Have you ever contributed anything to a thread other than smart arse remarks? If it is your way of trying to fit in or be relevant, you are failing miserably... Well that is unless you're a 5th grader...

I didn't assert that the data was incorrect. I was "asserting", which is fact, that ANYONE can put something into VAERS. So until the CDC examines the data no one really can 100% be certain of what the data means.

OP, there are several hundred people in my plant and more than half have been vaccinated and so far we haven't heard of anything more than a couple of days of blah. And a sore arm.

The effects that occur immediately after the shot shouldnt be the major worry unless of course you get heart problems, we have a friend who within a week of getting the vax started having serious heart issues. Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Cardiologist said "you should have never gotten the vaccine". Reasoning was she had caught the Alpha and then the Delta which was why she took the vax. Cardiologist said that taking the vax without waiting 3-4 months after having covid is the correlation for heart issues. The virus obviously is a vascular destroyer, heart issues, lung issues, loss of smell, loss of taste........

The biggest effect people should be worried about when it comes to the shot are the effects that will pop up 5 years from now, 10 years from now, etc..... No long term studies. Its a gamble, one that should the choice of the end user, not some government and not some feckless corporation.

I'm in the Moderna study and my antibodies are above 1800
That's sniffing close to a year after original vaccine... time will tell what that number really means but from what my wk colleagues are saying a good target number is antibodies above 1200

No lasting side effects other than the ability to read and write Chinese 🙄

On a serious note I have had a handful of pts with lingering headaches and brain fog post vaccine and even had a couple with injection site pain/inflammatory response that lasted months
