    Californians get bad rap

Been here for a couple weeks. Can say Id
Love to trade some folks around Texas for most of these people. Lots of signs to “Recall Newsome”. Lots of American flags and Trump flags. Masks are better than alot of Texas. Last two places we ate not one person working there had masks on. Went to grocery store and a couple customers had masks on but not one of the folks working there. Wife and I have been surprised. These folks really dont deserve what big city folks have voted for

That’s interesting. Are y’all away from the big cities?

Yea we are is small town California. We are in Three Rivers now but spent some time in Lee Vining and Mammoth Lakes. I dont wear masks and have been refused service in Texas. Not once in California. They have signs “Patriots dont hide behind masks”.

There were more people that voted for Trump in CA than in TX. It is a beautiful place

Once you get away for the larger cities it’s not too bad. The last time I was out there picking up a load I was 100 yards from anyone out in the parking lot strapping it down. The guard, I’ll call her Karen, came out of the guard house and walked out to me to tell me to put my mask on. And then stood there to make sure I kept it on. I was very close to loosing my job that day.

Sounds like the same as small town Texas vs. big city Texas. Completely different worlds.

a few of my friends came to Pa for a trad shoot. They had their eyes opened with the hospitality and "ways" of us yankees. I explained that you can't judge all northerners by Pittsburgh and philly, just like you can't judge all of Georgia by Atlanta

Awesome. Love the Three Rivers area. We caught a bunch of smallmouth in the Kaweah River in town.

Colorado is the same way. Boulder and Denver carry the liberal, and majority, voting block. When you get away from those places most folks I met were conservative. Especially the “sovereign citizens”!

California has more Republican voters than any other state.

If this is true, then why do Democrats have super majorities in both the house and senate and have had these super majorities for since 2018?

It's funny, no matter where I go, when I talk to people, most know where I'm from.

Well I will say both Eastern Oregon and California are my kind of peeps. Eastern Oregon has signs everywhere to move the state line to put them in Idaho. Its was actually more liberal there than Eastern California. These folks have “ F Biden” flags and “Please don’t be a Maskhole” signs up.
