Ok, for the past year I have had a weird smell of smoke everywhere I go on occasions. Even sitting at home I would smell smoke. Also awhile back had the shortness of breath. Looked up these symptoms and they are saying people who have had covid will have these. Anyone else? Guess I need to get an antibody test.

I had covid last Dec., I had the original strain I guess, I was pretty lucky overall I had a relatively mild case. I had no lasting effects, smell/taste returned after about six weeks. I had no fever, no respiratory issues, just fatigue, body aches, highly congested, and my stomach was tore up for a week. I have a co-worker who had it in August and just got over it. Two weeks after recovery, she is having a really hard time with lasting brain fog, random body aches, fatigue, pretty severe case of bronchitis/heavy persistent cough, etc... She's been to the Dr. several times to have heart/lungs checked and they basically tell her nothing appears to be wrong but that there are a lot of weird lasting side effects that we simply don't understand.

I lost my taste and smell around August 1st. I've only got about 10% of it back.

I lost all of my smell last year. Hasn't come back yet . The wife doesn't have to blame the dog anymore when she rips one.

I had Covid the week after this past spring break. I would experience the smoke smell as well but got use to it and quit trying to figure out what was causing the smell. It has been better and don't recall having the smell for the past couple of months

Ive had a couple incidents of the smoke smell at home while working in my shop and while at work.

At least i know im not going crazy now. I hadnt realized it was associated with covid until now.

I have experienced the "I smell cig smoke" many times in the past... long before COVID was a thing. It was usually preceding a sinus infection.
