4 billion doses, doesn't say 4 billion doses of apple flavored horse de-wormer.

Did you read op's title? Human consumable ivermectin has just been warned against prescriptions.

Did they care about 3 or 4 billion doses to stop the prescriptions?
Next up; stop the flow of otc ivermectin....apple flavored horse de-wormer.
It will be a lot easier to justify than stopping prescription of "made for human" ivermectin.
