Let me clear this up. What I meant was we rebuilt Japan and Germany and their infrastructure including factories.

Germany was smaller bombs with the intent of supporting our ground forces and stopping an advancing military. There are nuances that make them different.
Nah, not really. Over 600,000 German civilians, including 76000 children were killed by air bombing.

My grandfather flew a B17. Classified missions at the time and he would never fly again even as a passenger on commercial flights from Florida to visit us in Houston. They flew in at low altitudes following fighters. The fighters would buzz the factories. The men were at the front. Thousands of women and children would come pouring out of the factories like ants. They dropped 25 pound anti personnel bombs on the crowds from as low as 300 ft. He would never fly again.

Dresden was fire bombed to the point they created fire tornadoes and evaporated rivers and canals.

This thing is a complete disaster and it’s only going to get worse

The whole administration is a shining example of why the system of meritocracy works and diversity doesn’t
Complete and total incompetence on display

My grandfather was a B17 pilot as well. He loved to tell stories about the planes, and the men, and some missions. He would occasionally remember some things and instantly become very quiet and withdrawn.
