The veterinarians at least in Texas paid to have a law written and passed that requires a prescription for medicated minerals intended for livestock. These are just simple bags of minerals with added medication. Nothing fancy about it to me. The vets just wanted the additional revenue made by writing prescriptions.

What has been irritating is having a long list of important things to do on ranches and having to then sit or stand for two hours waiting on the prescription to be verified by a Farmers CO-OP. Prior to the law being passed I could walk to the counter, submit my order, pay, and then head out to the loading dock. Can’t do it like that anymore.

It's a very deceitful press release. Did they do a large patient study on humans taking ivermectin to see results compared to those not taking it?

If not, then of course there's no basis.
