    Paris - Checking vax status

Read some of this. Hard to fathom but?? Remember when all this started and 99% of TBH told me that we live in America and would not follow other Countries doing a lockdown, closing cities etc...

    Will we soon follow again?

A few posts down talks about arresting people and putting in camps. I know..I know.. Could never happen here, or??

I am hopeful that we won't as a country although some places will definitely do it. There will be some states that won't tolerate it again and I can only hope that Texas is one of them. What will be the straw that breaks the camels back, idk, but often it comes from left field where nobody saw it coming.

I was in Paris and Lisbon last week
Couldn't go to the Louvre or Eiffel tower until I got an updated covid test
Couldn't even get on the ferris wheel next to the Louvre without it either!!!

Other than that it was smooth sailing in France

      Portugal was another story
I couldn't go ANYWHERE without my mask on
I'm talking the smallest of stores to the largest they were quick to yell out in Portuguese I need a mask
Then I'd play dumb American and say "fala Ingles???"
"Sir, you need a mask on to be in this store!!!!!!"
Yeah, pretty much all of them are bilingual. LoL

On the way back to the states I took air Canada and those flight attendants were so **** about the mask

KEEP YOUR MASK ON WHEN YOU SPEAK TO US!
I typed that in all caps because you could hear them shouting down passengers every few rows for those of us who forgot

Oh, how about I was tracker all over Europe from Belgium. To France to Portugal all via the qr code from my covid test
Everywhere you go they scan your qr code to ensure it's legit from a EU database
It's all about tracing your movements

The former most definitely, and it will likely cost me a solid paying job because I can’t do my job if I can’t travel. Hard to be a traveling salesman with a 14 state region and not be able to board a plane.

I doubt the latter will happen.

I sincerely hope folk wake up and stand up against this non sense. 99% survival rate. I’ll take those odds.

The elected ones haven’t yet, what makes you think they will start? The enlisted ones, we shall see, but history is not on our side

That sounds like anything but "smooth sailing!"
