I've heard the MSM poke fun at him for being "just an eye dr." as if he's the guy at wal-mart fitting you're glasses after coming up with a script.

Turns out he's got a lot more background than eye surgery.

He's one of the few I see steadily sticking his neck out, I'd vote for him if I could.

Rand Paul is one of the good guys, thank God that we have a handful like him. Unfortunate that we don't have more true patriots that believe in freedom and personal responsibility. Hope he runs for the presidency at some point.

He goes to a third world country every year to help the blind with no access to an eye Dr regain their vision. He's a genuinely respectable man and I am thankful he is in the senate.
