no doubt they will get enough signatures to get it on the ballot. Oregon is about 85% rural but only about 25% of the population live there. Half the state's population live in around around Portland and we know how they are likely to vote.

There are still some modern hippie communes up in the mountains. Crazy stuff goes on. Had a relative that worked for the state and the forestry service doing research on wild animals. He had interesting stories to share about the weird things that went on in the higher elevations. One thing that he loudly protested against was when the hippies started passing out flyers pushing for one world order. There were even weirder things they wanted.
