First off, hope both of them end up ok! Weird that there seems to be no set dosing regiment from doc’s on the Ivermectin pills…my MIL went to the ED and was prescribed 4 per day for 5 days.

4 per day for 5 days is the frontline dosage recommendation of you have it. For prophylactic dosage, one dose then another 48 hours later. Then one dose weekly.

Correct. My point is that it’s strange your buddy’s doc gave them a 4 pills once regiment as opposed 4 per day for 5 days.

Curious about your buddy that’s not doing too good. Does he spend several hours a day in the gym just kicking his own *** throwing weights around? Does he follow a strict diet of very low fat and high protein and carbs?

Asking cause I have a buddy who’s exactly like that, tested positive, and has absolutely kicked his butt. Hope your buddy gets to feeling better!

Has anybody found ivermectin (or anything else) to help with post Covid symptoms, particularly loss of smell.

Strength and vibrant health are necessarily always correlated unfortunately. You can be strong as an ox but not particularly healthy. Especially robust immune system health.

                best of luck to all

                  Spot on.
You can also be overweight and out of shape, yet possess an incredible immune system.

He eats pretty normal and not a strict diet. High protein diet. Some what keto but takes in carbs. He will have pizza and burgers from time to time. Hes prolly more healthy than most in his diet. He’s my wife’s nutritionist for her bodybuilding shows. He probably does about an hour to hour and a half at a time in the gym.

High protein isn't keto. High fat, normal protein, low carb is keto. Metabolic health isn't necessarily the same as being strong or having endurance or not being overweight.

I hear a lot of reports of people having a hard time with COVID even though they "work out all the time and are strong as an ox", etc.... According to everything that's been reported so far, COVID hits people that have some form of metabolic syndrome the hardest. People that have metabolic syndrome are folks that are insulin resistant, low inflammation, over weight, diabetic or pre-diabetic, etc.... You can be a healthy weight and be in shape, but still be insulin resistant, pre-diabetic and inflamed due to eating the wrong stuff.

That said, I'm sure there are a few folks who are metabolically healthy that are still having a hard time with COVID for whatever reason. Who freaking knows? But they're the exception and not the rule.

This may have been answered earlier on but is Duramectin fine to take in place of invermectin? It’s all TSC had in stock

Makes sense. What I meant about keto is he does keto from time to time to shed some extra padding if he gains 15 or 20 pounds
