Your thoughts on this cereal box?

If this is considered “political/current events”, mods please move it accordingly. I ran in Walmart today after the gym to pick up some stuff for tacos. I spot this stack of cereal boxes on an endcap. Now, let me say that I don’t give a rip what your sexual or religious preferences are. You can do what you want to do with your own life. Just don’t cram it down my throat. The whole “pride” thing has been pushed on us relentlessly lately. When it’s aimed at adults, that’s one thing. But who eats this kind of cereal?……kids. Kids eat this cereal. Young kids. I just don’t think it’s right to push this stuff on children. This is coming from someone who doesn’t even have any kids. I don’t know…..it just really hit me wrong.

Another tiny step toward the perfectly washed brain, classic. Immerse and normalize.

So boxes aren't for promoting an agenda, while using said box to promote an agenda..?
I definitely wouldn't be bringing that box home.

I will never understand how homosexuality has become the ONLY sin that is being forced upon everyone as acceptable. Everyone sins in all sorts of ways, but as a human race, all others are considered wrong. How did this become the ONE that slipped through the cracks?

What kind of cereal is that? Fruit Loops?

What do I think about it? I think it's pretty gay and I wouldn't buy it. It's getting to the point that I don't view homosexuals any different than I do pedophiles because of this sort of crap. What message are they trying to send to kids? IMO they have a sickness and they ought to be locked up. They're sickos.

I used to think live and let live. But they're trying to get to kids. That's disgusting.

Unfortunately, I'm learning the same way. Used to not have much of a opinion. Just be respectful to each other and mind your own. Now I'm forming a opinion, and it's not positive.

Thanks for the heads-up I will show this to my wife.

I agree wholeheartedly. Disney ****** me off with their pride month line item on Disney +. Up until then we hadn't felt the need for parental settings on their app.

I believe in letting grown people do what they want to do and live how they want to live and deal with God on their own accord. I am nobody's judge and jury but what I feel is wrong is teaching children that some sins are ok and others aren't. The term "white lie" always springs to mind.

This notion that Love erases sin as a sin is wrong. You might love budweiser but that doesn't negate alcoholism in the eyes of God. You might love a little boy/girl but that doesn't negate that touching them is perverse. You might love multiple women but that doesn't mean sleeping around on your wife isn't adultery. If you ask me all this crap is rooted in selfishness and people selfishly wanting to be told how they choose to live is O.K. despite the fact they know **** well it's sinful.

The good book tells us to HATE the sin but LOVE the sinner.

It’s not the only one, it’s not even the worst one. Abortion is murder and it’s sanctioned by at least half of our population.

Mods, please leave this right here in The Campfire. It's time we stop turning our heads, pushing it aside to get lost in the other forum.

Something tells me if I were to start a "White Pride" movement it wouldn't go over so well. I just want to join in on the fun. People are proud of who they are so why can't I be? Why can't people just love and respect me for having white pride? Surely nobody will say anything negative about it.

To be totally honest with you grouping racism and homosexuality together as the same types of discrimination is how we got in this mess to begin with.

The color of your skin is not a lifestyle choice. The fact that someone could view you as less than or more than simply because of the pigment of your skin is silly because you did absolutely nothing to determine it.

Homosexuality is a sin in the eyes of God. Being black isn't a sin. Being white is not a sin. Totally different conversation and yet they have been lumped together so often it seems natural.

Racial discrimination is wrong in any form. The only reason it's existed for as long as it has is because governments have profited off of it and risen to power on the backs of division, envy, and hatred.
