I find it very interesting that when I was in High School and then into college, ALL of my A&P books and studies broke down the human body...all were the exact same except there were a few different male/female internal parts. My books did not say "if they are from this country then they have this part or if they are from that area then they have this kind of part"

A very good friend of mine from League City had his son, a kindergartener, come home and tell him "Dad did you know Rosa Parks was arrested and had to go to prison because she refused to give her seat to a white man"!!! This is in public school..
Needless to say he will be in private school shortly learning what he should be learning instead of propaganda. You know like how to count and write and spell. The less important things..

He is in Freaking kindergarten that's the problem... Do you honestly think that is oppropriate to be teaching in kindergarten?? Do you really believe that he even understands that BS? He should be learning that a round peg doesn't fit in a square hole. Not being brainwashed with liberal political propaganda.. But that same kid in 12 years of public school will never be told that the Democratic Party is responsible for the KKK and he will NEVER learn American history or about the holocaust!!!

The cherry picking of history and historical events is what really burns my azz.
If they are going to teach it then teach all of it but none in Kindergarten !!

It’s one thing to teach about Rosa Parks and how she stood up for her right s but Kindergarten is a little young for teaching about segregation and discrimination because that is learned behavior, kids are not born hating each other because of their skin color.. They are taught this by bad parenting, society and politicians.
Also it is another thing to be trying to convince kids one political party is bad and the other good based on today’s context. Parents should be teaching their kids that stuff, not teachers. The problem is there are a ton of history teachers out there who are full blown progressive liberals and they let their personal politics influence their teachings..

You think teaching about the civil rights movement is liberal political propaganda? I think we may have jumped the shark here. And I certainly honor the holocaust is taught in every school. I know it was extensively covered 25 years ago when I was in high school. We even visited the Holocaust museum in DC, which was incredibly haunting.

You are talking 25 years ago not what is being taught today. You are also talking high school and not kindergarten. The Rosa Parks issue isnt material for a 5 yr old.

Exactly but/and if you are going to teach about it do not leave out the fact that it was a well organized/orchestrated stunt... It didn't just happen by accident.. It was a planned protest and who knows how many attempts where made before they finally found some idiot to take the bait..

CRT teaches that races SHOULD be treated UNEQUALLY to make up for the past. Leave the dead to the dead. Even my generation (Im 41) was’nt alive during the bad times. We need to continue to teach the words of MLK and Maya Angelou. Not this new racist crap which for the record is all being pushed by liberal whites, remember that, whites. Im around teens all day in my current job. Kids have to be taught racism, they aren’t born with it. They all love each other as sisters and brothers till some ******* tells them otherwise.
