Just another union / corp negotiation. Union isn’t happy about what Exxon has offered to pay so Exxon will lock them out and bring in others to run the plant until it’s settled. Exxon doesn’t want their assets being held hostage during the negotiations by union employees

Yes just another games we play on both sides of the isle but unfortunately it effects many families and workers lives. The workers should know of this potential every so often. But the words “locked out” take it to an entirely different level and set of rules of engagement. Good luck to all involved if this occurs.

I’ve dealt with useless union workers before! There might have been 1 guy that was worth what they paid them!

You guys obviously have no idea about how Exxon runs their business and treats their employees.
They have fallen from one of the top companies to one of the worst. 10-12 years of bad decisions and still continuing down that path.
Lowest paid on the ship channel, only major with no 401k match, barely enough repairs to keep limping along. Sooner or later doing all those risk analysis wont keep people safe. They definitely have failed to keep equipment reliable.
Life aint good for Exxon. They arent anywhere close to Chevron or Shell anymore.
Hopefully they can get their issues resolved.

I have several friends there, uncle recently retired from chevron. Pretty well informed on chevron.
Spent a long time at the Pasadena refinery that they purchased and know quite a few folks there and always get updates when i see them around town.

It's not. Pay is good, pension is good, 401k is great. Other than that you better conform to big blue and the Chevron(California) way.
Astra, petrobras and PRSI are-were nothing like the garbage Chevron is.
