More symbolism from the left??

This really is a serious question. When you see Joe Biden at his desk on tv, there is a bust of JFK behind his left shoulder that looks like a severed head. Is this a not so subliminal message to democrats that if you act like him you will end up like him? Why could there not be something more tasteful used to honor JFK?
