I think the whole trial & verdict were predetermined.
My thought was to minimize the unrest they offered him up on a guilty charge & will set him up in a remote location like witness protection.
I personally feel he is a dip**** & was wrong with the way he handled the situation, but guilty of murder- no way.
The one common theme with all these shootings, none of them should have happened, they should have all still been in prison for their previous crimes.
Conflict avoided.
