Why was the jury not sequestered??

I’m not implying it would have changed the outcome, but one has to wonder in a case of this magnitude, why wasn’t the jury sequestered?

Could this be a reason for mistrial on appeal?

No way.... a few thousand dollars is a drop in the bucket. The judge screwed up but I kind of think he did it on purpose.

We can afford $86 Mil to house illegals in hotels for a few months, surely MN can afford 13 jurors for a week or a couple of weeks in such a prominent case

Failure to change venue alone, is enough for miss trial.

I think there is a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes in this one.

I think some of the stuff is by design to give a little time for things to quiet down.
