Yep. Very old news. If you dig up all the research, it all shows that masks are useless against respiratory viruses. It's been known forever. It's just been ignored since masks became a political/superstitious cult due to COVID fear mongering. Masks don't help. They just make things worse. That's why I've not worn masks during this whole time.

But somehow they were able to convince most of society that we're all gonna die unless everybody wears a stupid mask. Just one of many things from the last year that are unbelievably disappointing, sad, and embarrassing to learn about our society these days.

A lady the other day was complaining about her glasses fogging up using pin pad, I told her you don't have to wear that mask and she said she hates it but feels guilty if she doesn't wear it......

I saw an interview with a guy who is an infectious disease doctor and public health official. He was asked the simple question "has wearing masks reduced the spread of COVID?" He said yes, but only to the extent that it keeps the virus "top of mind" when people are out in public. In other words the idea of the mask mandates was for everyone to have a visual reminder that there was a pandemic going on so they will take precautions. He said as a physical barrier it is close to worthless and everyone in his profession knows it.

I think most people I know realize the mask is a useless gesture.
However they are required buy some places like at church. So I'll wear one when I go. That doesn't mean I think it protects anything except maybe the paranoid's fears.

Today was the first time in all this that I had been refused service anywhere because i wouldn't wear a mask. Airgas lost my business forever, I had been buying stuff there for over 20 years and bought stuff there 2 weeks ago sans mask. But apparently the district manager was there so no entry. I took my bottles and went to westair
