If these are 'guns of war' and there are millions of us then why do we give a chit what the politicians say? It's always funny to hear people with no guns try and tell people with guns what to do. It doesn't work that way, now see why I will never give up a **** thing except dipping and I can't even do that.

Maybe I shouldn't say "mistakes", but as I mentioned, our "representation" is not representing us. I know it would really slow things down but I think many more things should actually be voted on by the populace. Based on what we saw the last election I don't guess it would matter, but at least in theory. And allowing states to set laws for federal elections is a mistake in my opinion. Laws regarding federal elections should be uniform.

I agree on the not representing. There’s remedies for that as well if we have the guts to do it.

There have been ammo shortages over the years at different times/presidents. Should there be more concerns this time, YES.

The 4 years of Trump, I could get any ammo I wanted at any day I walked in Academy, except 7mm08. Now? No ammo on any shelf of any store I go to. None!

I’m retired, but, if I were still employed and was directed to go take legal citizen’s guns I would be fired for insubordination because I will always uphold and defend the 2nd.
I doubt seriously there’s 2% of the LEO that would join in the confiscation game.

Of course we are worried about it, it’s the last real way to fight back. Ask the folks in Mexico how it feels when the cartel moves into a town and you have no way to push back. The 2nd is what sets us apart from almost all other nations. It’s critical.
I’m not saying that all the other things you listed aren’t important because I agree they are but if I have to Prioritize them they would be listed after the right to bear arms.

But if they said OK you don't have to take guns you can stay on your normal beat..And they send other LEO to take guns. That's what I want to know. What are LEOs going to do? Just do their job that's still ok, or raise hell? After Covid I'd guess they'd stay quiet to keep their job.

No doubt about it, good thing is we still have 50 states and 50 ways to run our republic. Texas reps won’t allow confiscation as well as other states with citizens demanding 2nd right. This is the left appealing to their fascist base it won’t stand in the real world outside of a major city. What we are seeing is a fight between city folk and country folk what makes it seem bad is the city folk have major media pushing their narrative, good news is no one watches their media anymore.

The Supreme Court is hearing a case that will decide wether or not police can search your property and steal your possessions (firearms) without reason or warrant. You can bet if they rule a certain (wrong) way, there will be executive orders to take advantage of it.
